I Met Faith Today

I met Faith today...  slender,five foot three, gray hair, 71 years old, works out and loves Jesus.  While at a laundromat, she washing her son-in-laws uniforms and me washing blankets. She walks through the door and looks a little scared... I introduced myself and she met the owners... I frequent the place.  We shared our stories... She the child of missionaries... born in Africa... I born in Houston, TX... the child of a preacher (happened after my dad was much older)... We both married and divorced twice. She sold her house she owned for 40 years and moved in with her daughter and family. She explained how difficult that was for her. She is still very independent, fortunately her daughter has an efficiency apartment attached to her home and lives there. I shared my story of going through a divorce and having to move into my parents Mississippi home. Best thing of all we shared our love for Jesus and how that our faith in Him and Father God gets us through everything.

I met Faith today and faith met me.

God knows what we need when we need it... You never know who or what he will bring to answer a prayer...
